cardiology;
‘an abnormality of the functioning of the autonomic (involuntary) nervous system,’
another one;
a condition common
with my co-morbidities,
nothing I’d not guessed
we already do much of what they say I should,
I laugh during the tests;
“Don’t get up too fast,” he says
smiling knowingly – as if I could,
and we wheel away,
the day is bright,
we eat and take in art
so this day will be remembered
for its light, not the gruesome parts
for, until recently, I thought one thing in me
was strong; the system and working of my heart.
It seems this system too is shaky
But the will to love and live is not.

(Another diagnosis today, and another poem. )
Trust everything went okay Antonia. A poem from the heart.
Thank you for your kindness! Another diagnosis today, neither welcome nor unexpected because it often comes with gubbins we already know I have . Poems help me process. π
That’s all you can do, is celebrate the light whenever the opportunity arises. That tree is a wonderful symbol of your will to love and live.
Thank you Olga! π³π
Take my hand offered in friendship
Help yourself to my strength I have enough to share.
Fill every day with joy and life. Be the best that you are.πππ
