Dyslexic, yet I

write too much, the same frayed ends,

or should that be ‘to much’ –

you may read it either way;

we write to much the same ends,…

Forgotten Eve

Hear this modern Eve,

where the apple slices sharp

the wax drowns new wicks

swallowing the knife of words

watch a candle cut to flame,

choaked, a blessing came

with an absence of honey;

uttered without tune

where weary throats broke quavers

on past moons, hope a sliver.

Lost Words

losing words and dates again, I laugh when I have trouble with a form but part of me is frightened, my neurology is not the norm, never was, but this dense fog is getting deeper;   first I cannot read as I lose focus, my thoughts loop, as I infer what I inferred before before…

Divine

Divine is both verb and abstract noun, like love, value, dream, time;

Doubt is both verb and abstract noun, like lie, fashion, endeavour,

Disregard, envy, thrill or calm, delight, pleasure, trust and hope…  

Note to Self

held within

hushed chorus

spilling into each other

in needed trust, begin,

I’d lost words

But with keen intent

Regained them,

In each breath

Paroxysms of purpose
