Let’s hope they get over their fear of feminine wisdom and start listening. The earth needs some feminine nurturance
and people everywhere who take responsibility. As your post illumes, governments aren’t doing anything. I can do less than I could (nasty chronic illnesses and disabilities) but I’ve started a section on my site called ‘Sustainability and the City’. Children are leading the way with strikes and protests for their futures. We are too far from the Earth we stand on.
Thanks for the insight into your life Antonia. I think we all work where and how we can. Illness, disability and age can reduce our ability to be physically active but we can do other things to bring in the new – smiling at strangers, nurturing our own creativity, working on our own healing – these are all effective tools that encourage positive change within and without.
agreed. 🙂
Cleverly appropriate for the time. I love your poem response for this prompt.
Thank you, Helene! I loved your response too’ the way you used both words and form to show darkness as park of existence but something that slipped away, revealing life.
